No, I’m not referring to that joyous season between the end of November and the beginning of January. I’m talking Labor Day, Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur — all coming at us within about a fortnight. And, amidst it all, an evening of song on Sunday, September 8, from 8 to 10 p.m., at Bistro Bohem.
At that gig, I’ll be singing, as usual, alongside George Oakley (reeds and woodwinds), Scott Giambusso (bass) and Nick Lipkowski (guitar). We’ll be playing Great American Songbook standards and maybe a few other surprises.
Bistro Bohem, it features Central European food (primarily Czech) and great beers from the region. Click here to see the full menu. The restaurant is at 600 Florida Ave NW, Washington, D.C. Phone: 202.735.5895.
No cover charge.
Please join us for the holidays — whether you observe them or not. And bring friends.
