Next Gig: Epicure Cafe, August 4

Copy of Copy of Copy of astrid smith (2)Up next: I’ll be singing at Epicure Cafe, 11104 Lee Highway, Fairfax, Va., on Sunday, August 4, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. (Note: this is updated from the originally advertised time.) Right beside me will be two of the best players around: Donato Soviero on guitar, and Scott Giambusso on bass.

It’s my first time performing at Epicure Cafe, which is, according to its own description, “a family-owned and collectively-led arts space, restaurant and lounge” that offers with a great menu of “Mediterranean dishes with a modern twist, as well as gourmet pizza offerings – with many options for our vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free friends.” (I stopped by recently and had “Steak Kabob with Falafel-Hearted Artichokes. Really good!) It’s a comfortable place to sit back and listen to music.

And we’ll be there to do our part. Cover charge will be a mere $15 per person.

Hope to see you there.
