Consider my upcoming gig at Mr. Henry’s on Saturday, November 25, from 8 to 11 p.m., a big opportunity. It’s the Saturday after Thanksgiving, at which point you will likely have tired of playing board games with your relatives, had your fill of museums and seen all the holiday weekend’s blockbuster movies. By this time, you will have picked all the meat off your turkey carcass and have no more cranberry sauce and stuffing to eat right out of the refrigerator. You will need a break, a diversion, a fresh perspective. I’ve got just the thing for you — and for your whole family.
Music, with no less than great musicians like Jim Levy on keyboards, Tyler Leak on drums and Ethan Foote on bass. Oh, and I’ll be singing.
Mr. Henry’s, at 601 Pennsylvania Ave SE, Washington, D.C., is a hopping presence on Capitol Hill, and we’ll be playing in the upstairs performing space. There is a $15 food and beverage minimum per person (a bargain!). Doors open at 6 p.m. for guests who are interested in the jazz dinner menu (prepared by Chef Thomas Bach). Mr. Henry’s strongly encourages you to make reservations to get a preferred table. To make a reservation go to http://www.mrhenrysdc.com/live-music or http://www.mrhenrysdc.com/

I hope you can join me on November 25 at Mr. Henry’s. See you there?
