For the three people (okay, maybe only two) who might actually check here before heading out to my gig at Twins Jazz in Washington, D.C., on Sunday, November 22, there will now be only one long set, starting at 8 p.m., instead of two.
The other news is that bassist Scott Giambusso will be joining me and Chris Grasso, who is playing piano. It’s a great combination.
Once again, there’s a $10 cover. Bring friends. See you there.
I’ll be back at Twins Jazz in Washington, D.C., for a pre-Thanksgiving affair on Sunday, November 22, with sets at 8 and 10 p.m.
I’m thriled to be singing this time with Chris Grasso, one of the best — and, for that reason, busiest — jazz pianists around. If you come only to hear Chris’ remarkable playing, I guarantee you’ll have an enjoyable evening.
We’ll work our way through an eclectic mix of standard and not-so-standard tunes. For a hint of what you’ll hear, click here to listen to my recordings.
There’s a cover charge of merely $10. Doors open at 7 p.m. The music starts at 8, and then again at 10 p.m. For directions and all-important parking tips, click here.
I hope you can join us.
